We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, nonetheless everything was perfect. Stayed in cheap suite with the bedroom, kettle plus large TV. In general the staff were attentive and accommodating. Loved satisfactory breakfast. Set a short walk to a train station, which helped to explore Exeter. The hotel met needs, we would come here again.

Booked twin room, that was provided with neat beds, the bedroom, for example. Having a hairdryer and bath sheets was a bonus.

great access to parks and city attractions for weekend explorers

The service was cute and friendly, and the location was great, just a few steps from the city centre and close to Northernhay Gardens, making it easy to enjoy some greenery during my city strolls.

I had a good two-night stay with a cozy, clean room and enjoyed a hearty breakfast selection. The poached eggs were impressively cooked and breakfast service was good.

    great location
    friendly owners
    free parking
    poor wifi

Had a blast with friends! We explored the local area and visited the cathedral and a fun pub nearby. The location was spot on, just a quick walk to everything we wanted. The owners were super friendly, and the free parking was a huge plus, even though it's a tight squeeze. Perfect for our group getaway!

One downside was the WiFi, which wasn't great . We mostly relied on 4G for connectivity, but it was a minor issue since we were there only one night.

    comfortable room
    traditional local cakes
    shower performance
    tight parking
    lack of breakfast

A lovely period building greeted us with vibrant flowers, and the room was well-presented and comfortable, complete with tea/coffee facilities and a wash basin. Although the shower performance was less excellent, it was functional. The owners provided a warm welcome was nice, while the convenient location just a short walk from the station and city center was a significant plus. Don't miss the delicious traditional cakes at breakfast.

    tiny bathroom

Stayed for a night at oakcliffe and was super happy with my stay. The room was clean and cozy, even tho it was small. Location was perfect, right near the station and town, so it was easy to get around. The owner was really friendly and helped me with directions and stuff. Breakfast was good and the vibe was chill.

the shared bathroom was kinda tiny and the tv in my room was way too small to see from my bed.

Clean room, friendly owner, with an electric kettle available to make tea or coffee, and just a 10-minute walk from the city center, making it a perfect choice for a short stay.

Oakcliffe bed & breakfast is a cozy gem! My double room with en-suite was comfortable, quiet, and impeccably clean. It was a quick stroll to local shops and only a short drive to my work. Lorraine's warm hospitality really stood out-she even helped me find a great dinner spot. Breakfast was good too!
